What is Tatmeen

The introduction of serialization to medication has begun in the UAE with the regulation of Tatmeen “a highly advanced track and trace platform for pharmaceuticals and medical products”, as it had launched in 2020 and is now in 2024 taking effect at the top of medication supply chain in the UAE.

Drug Track & trace

Serialization for drug track & trace is a process to enable tracking each single medication box by its unique serial number, knowing its location and previous locations until it gets to the consumer, bringing a counter measure against forfeits and becoming an essential step with the growth of the pharmaceutical industry.
